TASK
2A ： Lalin Editing: Colour grading & Correction
After receiving the video material provided by Mr. Martin, I used Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and post-production. First, I added text descriptions, graphic elements and transition effects according to the video content, with the aim of enhancing the overall visual expression and coherence of the video.
In addition, in order to enhance the viewing experience of the video, I also added pop-up prompt sound effects and ringtone effects to the video to further enrich the picture information and enhance the audience's immersive experience.
In the color grading stage, I mainly used the Lumetri color grading tool in Premiere Pro. By adjusting the exposure, white balance and overall hue, the color style of the video was ensured to be unified and in line with the expected atmosphere. Special attention was paid to the light and dark contrast and color saturation of the picture, making the picture layer richer and the visual effect more appealing.
The entire production process focused on details and overall coordination, striving to present a video work with a unified picture style, compact rhythm and visual appeal within a limited time.

The entire filming process was very enjoyable, but there were some
challenges, such as some shots needed to be retaken multiple times. We
worked closely together to ensure that the camera angles and actor
movements were accurate.
After the filming was completed, we transferred the footage and audio to
the computer and the cloud, selected the best shots, and then matched and
synchronized them with the corresponding recordings to prepare for
subsequent editing.

During the production process, I started with the first shot and performed detailed color correction. Using the color adjustment tools in Premiere Pro, I adjusted the exposure, hue, and contrast of the picture to enhance the light and dark layers of the picture, making the colors more saturated and textured. By fine-tuning the white balance, I ensured that the color of the picture was natural and in line with the expected visual atmosphere.
To enhance the dramatic tension and visual impact of the video, I added a strobe effect. This effect creates a tense and mysterious atmosphere through rapid flashing of light when the key scene appears, focusing the audience's attention on the main body of the picture.
Next, I designed and added dynamic animation effects for the text in the picture. The gradual appearance, movement, or change of the text enhances the fun and expressiveness of the video, while also better conveying information and emotions.
Finally, I unified the color scheme of the entire scene based on the color wheel color matching theory. By adjusting the hue and saturation of the overall tone, the colors of each element in the picture are coordinated and consistent to avoid visual fragmentation.

REFLECTIONS
Experience
In this project, I was responsible for editing and color correcting the
footage provided by Mr. Martin, and adding text, graphics, transitions and
music using Premiere Pro. By using the ripple editing technique, I
controlled the video length to 35 seconds, and added pop-up and ringtone
effects, which improved my editing skills and visual expression ability.
In addition, I used the Lumetri tool to adjust the exposure, white balance
and hue to ensure the overall style of the video. Afterwards, I color
corrected and graded some shots to enhance the drama of the picture, added
strobe effects and made dynamic text according to the tutorial. The whole
production process enriched my understanding of color management and visual
effects.
Observation
During the shooting stage, although the process was enjoyable, the need for
multiple reshoots reminded me that the details in the shooting are crucial
to the final picture quality. By working closely with the team to ensure the
accuracy of camera angles and actor movements, it played a positive role in
the smooth progress of post-editing.
During the editing process, I observed that color adjustment has a huge
impact on the atmosphere of the video, and different tones and contrast
adjustments can significantly change the emotional expression of the
picture. In addition, the rational use of dynamic text and special effects
makes the picture more expressive and enhances the audience's visual
experience.
Discovery
This project made me realize that editing is not just a simple splicing of
materials, but also an important means to shape the atmosphere of the story
through color and visual elements. Fine color correction and unified style
can greatly enhance the professionalism and appeal of the work.
At the same time, I found that team cooperation and material management are
crucial to efficient production. Good material synchronization and selected
editing save a lot of time for subsequent work. Through continuous practice,
I have mastered more advanced skills of Premiere Pro and understood the
close connection between visual design and narrative.
